The short version: WaxSong collects no data. None.

The app

WaxSong runs entirely on your Mac. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no telemetry, no ads, and no tracking of any kind.
Your music files are played in place and are never copied, scanned for purposes other than playback, or transmitted anywhere.
Settings (playlist, equalizer, skin, playback position) are stored locally on your Mac and never leave it.
The app makes no network connections on its own. The two exceptions are both explicit actions: the “WaxSong Website” menu item (opens this site in your browser) and “Send Report…”, which sends only the message you wrote plus basic system information — app version, macOS version, Mac model, GPU — shown to you in full before sending. Never your name, your files, or any paths.

In App Store terms: Data Not Collected.

The site is static and sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics.
Our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, browser user agent) required to operate and secure the service, as any web host does.
If you send us a message through the feedback form, we receive what you wrote and the reply address only if you chose to include one. We use it solely to respond, and share it with no one.
